BLUE EVOLUTION AT CALIFORNIA SEAWEED FESTIVAL

Blue Evolution is excited to be presenting a booth and sea veggie cooking demo at this year’s California Seaweed Festival in San Diego, on November 4th, 2023.

Get your tickets to this family-friendly, free event HERE, and make sure to add on a ticket to the Blue Evolution cooking demo and tasting for $40. Blue Evolution Executive Chef Maylin Chavez will lead a demonstration teaching festival goers how to cook with Blue Evolution Alaskan Kombu and Wakame (kelp). Chef Maylin will present a Wakame Ceviche, and Blue Evolution Brand Ambassador Chef Andrew Spurgin will demo and present a Smoked Dashi with Black Garlic Molasses, Kombu, Wakame, Wild Mushrooms & Tortellini (full recipe here).

Additionally, Blue Evolution will be included on the California Seaweed Festival Fundraiser: Baja Seaweed Excursion. The tour will commence in San Diego, journey through Ensenada, Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC) - where Blue Evolution Seaweed Cultivation Advisor Dr. Jose Zertuche will lead a tour, AlgaMar, and ultimately arrive at Animalón for a delicious, seaweed-centric meal.
